The Handmade Parade is a vibrant, people-powered celebration of art, imagination, and community. Born from a collaboration between Giant Joy Collective and BFF Omaha, it transforms the streets of Benson into living works of art—filled with giant puppets, colorful masks, handmade costumes, music, movement, and wonderfully strange creations. Unlike traditional parades centered around floats and motorized displays, everything in the Handmade Parade is made, carried, worn, pushed, pulled, pedaled, or performed by people.
