MAY DAY CELEBRATION
Each spring, Giant Joy Collective gathers
the Benson community to celebrate May Day—a tradition of renewal, creativity, and neighborly joy.
We gather to welcome spring with music, making May baskets, and dancing around the Maypole. Flowers, ribbons, handmade offerings, and a little creative merriment come together in a simple celebration of the season and one another.
Rooted in the traditions of May Day, it’s an occasion to make something by hand, gather together, and welcome the return of spring.
